The Night Before.....

Butterflies and the all too common question, "have I forgotton anything"?

sunny 4 °C

Well, it's been a hectic day. Into Surrey for the 3D ultrasound of Jared and Kyla's little one. With family all around we watch on the screen as our little granddaughter yawned, wiggled, and sucked on her precious little fingers. It was wonderful and I am leaving on this trip with this vision in my mind and heart!

Then off to Birch Bay to drop off our furry four legged child to be looked after while we are gone. I always miss my dog when we are gone, it's the only bad thing about going away. But I know she will be in good hands.

A few stops to pick up some last minute items, stopped for a bite to eat, then home to do those million last minute things before you leave. I am proud of myself this time as I packed much lighter than when we went to Africa ( I swore I would never pack that much stuff again). Got everything into one medium sized suitcase and my carry-on is just a very small beach tote.

Our itinerary is on the map on the title page but here is a quick rundown of what we will be doing.
